FAQ’s

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

During the process of laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that directly targets the pigment in the hair follicle. When it reaches the follicle, the light is turned into heat that damages the sac where the hair grows. The treatment requires 6-8 sessions to ensure all hair has been targeted during the proper growth stage.

Is Laser Hair Removal Painful?

During laser hair removal, any pain may traditionally occur from the heat of the laser on your skin. Offering state-of-the-art service, we will use our Alma Soprano Ice Machine that releases a cooling agent at the same time of the laser during your treatment. This will eliminate pain and make for a much more comfortable experience.

How Long Does it Take?

Depending on how many areas you treat and how large those areas are, session time will vary. For the most part, laser hair removal is a very speedy procedure with no recovery time. The average laser session lasts only between 5 and 30 minutes!

What Areas of the Body Can be Lasered?

All areas of the body can be successfully lasered. We offer multiple packages to help you achieve your goals!

Can All Skin Tones be Treated by Laser Hair Removal?

Because laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin in the hair follicle, the removal requires the use of different types of lasers depending on the skin tone. The difference lies in the length of the laser’s pulse, having a direct impact on the ability to reach the root of the hair, rather than the surface of the skin. Laser hair removal is completely safe and successful for all shades of skin, as long as the proper machines are being used.

*It is normal for the areas you have treated to become red or sensitive immediately after treatment. This should not be painful and applying aloe vera to the area will help with sensitivity and redness. Appointments should be scheduled 4 to 8 weeks apart to ensure that your hair is in the proper growth cycle*
